This pack of three H13 HEPA filters fit the MeacoDry Arete® 25L dehumidifier. The HEPA filter is the 2nd stage of filtration, after your washable particle filter, and it is what turns your dehumidifier into an air purifier.
For cleaner, fresher air in your home or workspace, the HEPA filter needs to be replaced about every 3 months. Using the filter helps to avoid invalidating the 5 year warranty on your Arete® dehumidifier, by trapping residual paint overspray. Although, we also recommend turning off your dehumidifier while spraying, then ventilating the room, before turning you dehumidifier back on, which will prolong the life of your filter up to the recommended 3 months replacement time.
The HEPA filter can help remove mould spores, pollen, dust, pet dander, dust mites and more from the air. This is a true HEPA filter, which means that it conforms to tough international standards to ensure capture of 99.75% of particles of size 0.3 micrometers (μm) or larger in diameter.
The MeacoDry Arete® 25L dehumidifier can be used in a dedicated air purifier mode when you don’t need to dry the air.
Important notes:

Using the HEPA filter will increase noise levels and reduce water extraction efficiency slightly, but this is the trade-off for cleaner air.

H13 HEPA filters cannot be recycled due to the nature of the product.

For health and safety reasons, this product cannot be returned if the plastic bag around the HEPA filters has been opened.
