Iwata Takumi: A side feed Airbrush inspired by artisans.
Mastering a craft might take a lifetime. Hours of practice and years of study until the hand and the mind become one: until there is no distance between the imagination and the materials. In Japan, such skilled artisans are called Takumi.
Iwata Eclipse Takumi Side Feed Airbrush, first and foremost, has all of the spray attributes of Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes. In addition this side feed model has a redesigned, compact body style for improved control and balance. This, combined with a new gravity assisted side feed cup improves paint flow, making Takumi remarkably responsive. The two-piece 0.24oz / 7ml cup design disassembles for easy cleaning and siphon cut lid helps reduce paint build-up. Iwata Eclipse Takumi also features a crown cap, a wide, adaptive main lever and a quick flush cutaway pre-set handle.
Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes are known for their all-star versatility. Eclipse's high flow allows it to atomise a wider variety of liquids with less need for reducing or thinning. Eclipse Series offers a broad spray range, as compared to other airbrushes, where it is possible to achieve a controlled fine line to controlled wide spray.
One of the benefits of side feed airbrushes is that it allows maximum visibility of the spray surface while working. 0.10oz / 3ml cup option sold separately.
Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes feature an exclusive compression fit nozzle that is easy to clean and assemble. The quick-flush cutaway cutaway handle allows easy access to the needle so that you can quickly empty the paint reservoir for cleaning. Iwata's spring-steel needle resists breakage and the PTFE needle packings are solvent resistant for longevity. Iwata Eclipse airbrushes come with a head cap spanner that is used to remove the head cap when accessing the nozzle. Also included is Iwata Lube, which is used to lubricate the needle and main lever mechanism. Hugely popular, Iwata Eclipse Series airbrushes offer all-star versatility.
