The Airbrush Company presents a two-day Airbrushing Cakes & Sugarcrafts class with Cassie Brown, Sugarcraft Specialist.
This two-day course combines both TC-CB1 and (TC-CB2) of Cassie Brown's Airbrushing Cakes & Sugarcrafts courses.
This class is open to complete beginners, or anyone who would like a refresher - but still want to learn something new.
On Day 1 Cassie will guide you through the basics of working with an airbrush, including how to assemble and maintain it, as well as how to hold it and control the pressure for different effects. You will have the chance to practise a whole range of effects on iced boards and a dummy cake including graduating colours, mixing different shades, layering colour, fading, shading, block colouring and using your own handmade stencils.
Day 2 is designed to install confidence when you airbrush, with lots of practicing techniques you will be amazed with what you will achieve. The day is based around airbrushing a sunset cake as well as learning many effects such as wood grain and bark. You will also learn how to airbrush a detailed picture of an eye.
All equipment needed for this class is provided as part of the booking, however if you're looking for an airbrush kit to get started with Cassie Brown recommends the these Sparmax Sugarcrafts Kits for airbrushing cakes and sugarcrafts.
