Createx Airbrush Colors are water-based, full bodied fluid acrylics suitable for a variety of airbrush and spray-gun projects. Colours are made with a supple, yet durable acrylic resin that is well suited for painting fabric and textiles, leaving fabric soft to the touch and crack resistant.
These paints can also be used on wood, leather, canvas, plastics, aluminium, metals, ceramic, clay, poster board, brick, plaster, latex, glass and more. The range includes Transparent, Opaque, Pearlized, Fluorescent and iridescent colours.
Createx Airbrush Colors are designed to cover and spray best with larger tip-sizes at higher psi settings compared to Wicked Colors and Illustration Colors which are better suited for fine-line performance through smaller airbrush tip-sizes at lower psi settings. Createx Airbrush Colors are made with lightfast pigments, the same pigments Wicked Colors and Illustration Colors. Createx Airbrush Colors dry semi-gloss.
Createx Fluorescent Airbrush Colors are neon graphic colours that spray transparent direct from the bottle, with a 0.5mm airbrush tip-size. Thin with 4011 Reducer for increased transparency and use with smaller airbrush tip-sizes. For maximum colour brightness, apply over a white base, such as Createx 5212 Opaque White or AutoBorne Sealer 6001 White. As they are NOT lightfast, fluorescent pigments will eventually fade due to exposure to direct light. For exterior use, apply over a colour-keyed AutoBorne Sealer.

- Createx Fluorescent Airbrush Colors spray transparent direct from the bottle with a 0.5mm airbrush tip-size.
- Thin with 4011 Reducer for increased transparency and use with smaller airbrush tip-sizes.
- Best sprayed through large to medium airbrush tip-sizes, down to 0.3mm. For smaller tip-sizes, i.e. 0.18mm, Createx Wicked Fluorescent & Illustration Colors spray better.
- Psi can vary per tip-size, best sprayed between 25 – 40+ psi.
- Mix with 4030 Balancing Clear for improved adhesion & durability onto plastics and other hard surfaces
- Not Lightfast! Not recommended for long-term or exterior applications
- Tip: if using for an exterior finish (such as a helmet), first apply Createx Opaque Airbrush Colors (or AutoBorne Sealer) as a colour-keyed base to better hide eventual colour loss from direct light and improve coverage
- Highly translucent, low viscosity colours.
