HR Hobbies White Primer & Microfiller is part of the HR Hobbies Primers for use with their range of Natural Metal Finishes. HR Hobbies Primers also act as a micro-filler.
HR Hobbies lacquers are pre-thinned for airbrush use. Drying time is under 10 minutes. Airbrushes should be cleaned with HR Hobbies Airbrush Cleaner.
How to use HR Hobbies Primer and Microfiller:
Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Ensure surfaces are completely clean and free of oil/grease/dust before applying primer. Apply one or two medium coats at 15 PSI. Allow at least 30 minutes between coats.
Gentle polishing with mesh of fine, wet and dry will improve the final finish. Scratches and shallow seams can be filled using several light coats of primer on the affected areas.
A basecoat of HR Hobbies Gloss Black should be applied before spraying High Shine finish lacquers. For use on injection plastic kits a primer is necessary. Regular HR Hobbies lacquers are similar in strength to lacquer/cellulose car paints. Injected polystyrene plastics frequently have areas which HR Hobbies can craze without a proper undercoat.
