Jay’s enthusiasm and passion for the hobby translates into the courses perfectly as there is nothing Jay enjoys more than passing along information that inspires and enthuses his fellow modellers.
Exploring well established weathering techniques alongside recent innovations in the field the all day advanced weathering course brings together as many media’s as possible in order to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of not only how to effectively represent the effects of the elements on models, but what media best suits the desired result. Regardless of the type of modelling you do, whether it be Armour, Aircraft, Ships or Trains, the weathering course will benefit your modelling immensely.
This Weathering Techniques class follows on from Jay's Advanced Airbrushing Techniques, which covers camouflage and shading. Weathering Techniques can be attended as a class on its own, but by booking both you could have your pre-built model primed, painted, weathered and finished within the 2 days. For the airbrushing component of this class, we recommend you already have experience with the basic control of an airbrush, or have attended the
Modeller's Beginning Airbrushing Course.
The training room is fully equipped with the highest quality equipment available on the market - Iwata airbrushes and compressors.
