Please note: Due to curing times, your helmet will receive its final professional clear coat at Piers’ workshop after the course and will be returned to you (postage not included).

- Transform raw shells with professional prep and finishing techniques
- Master masking, sanding, and priming like a pro
- Bring your ideas to life through design, layout, and template creation
- Explore digital techniques, including scanning and artwork planning
- Learn the secrets of paint layering and application order
- Develop confidence with airbrushing directly onto curved surfaces
- Understand clear coating and finishing for a flawless result
- Get hands-on with airbrush setup and optimisation
- Complete the process with rebuild and finishing touches

You will also need:
- Accommodation - A list of local hotels and B&Bs will be sent with your booking confirmation.
- Lunch - Please bring a packed lunch. Alternatively, Snack Shack is a cafe located at Paula Rossa, Manhattan, on the Lancing Business Park (which is only a few minutes’ walk from us).
- Notepad and Camera - It is not essential however we do recommend you bring a notepad and camera with you.

About Piers Dowell:
Piers Dowell has been Custom Painting since 1991. He started, as most painters did, just doing a few helmets for friends. This didn’t take long to turn into a steady stream and now he’s probably painted in excess of 5000.
He has a number of full and part time employees working in a state-of-the-art facility at his home in Worcestershire. The mainstay of his work is still crash helmets for the Auto Sport industry. He is official painter for Stilo crash helmets in the UK and Ireland. His clients include Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Red Bull, Royalty, Demon Tweeks to Pirelli.
