Weathering Techniques for Model Railway Locomotives Training Course - George Dent (14th October 2021)

The Airbrush Company presents a Weathering Techniques for Model Railway Locomotives training course with George Dent.

George Dent

George Dent has been an active modeller for over 30 years and is the resident model-maker and Deputy Editor at Model Rail magazine. As well as working for one of Britain's best-selling hobby magazines, George has also published a number of widely acclaimed books and instructional DVDs on various aspects of railway modelling, including airbrushing.

Weathering Techniques for Model Railway Locomotives is a hands-on study of how to create ultra-realistic models using an airbrush, paints and a variety of other media.

Model by George Dent

A range of practical demonstrations are given, showing how to create a range of weathered finishes for steam and diesel subjects.

This one-day Weathering course follows on from George's Weathering Techniques for Model Railway Rolling Stock course. It can be attended as a class on its own and is aimed at modellers who want to advance their existing airbrushing skills and apply weathering to railway locomotives. For the airbrushing component of this class, we recommend you already have experience with the basic control of an airbrush, or have attended George’s Airbrushing for Railway Modellers course.

This is your opportunity to learn how to achieve the perfect finish with an airbrush. The training room is fully equipped with the highest quality equipment available on the market - Iwata airbrushes and compressors.

If this date is not suitable, please contact us to register your interest in the next course.
